The private taxi transfer between Jerez Airport and Chiclana - Novo Sancti Petri covers 64 km in about 1 h 10 min. It is the shortest airport run to the Novo Sancti Petri hotel strip, and the reason many travellers choose Jerez when they could fly into Seville or Málaga.

What the pickup at Jerez Airport looks like
Jerez is a small single-terminal airport: arrivals lead into one hall, so there are no terminals to mix up and nowhere to get lost. Your driver waits inside, by the arrivals exit, holding a sign with your name.
We ask for your flight number when you book. That is not paperwork: it is how we follow the actual arrival. If the plane lands late the pickup moves with it, and you do not need to call ahead or book again. If the flight is cancelled, the booking can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup.
How long it takes and which way it goes
The hour and ten minutes is driving time in normal traffic. The route leaves Jerez, skirts El Puerto de Santa María and Cádiz on the motorway, and turns into Chiclana on the A-48 before reaching the Novo Sancti Petri hotel strip.
In July and August, and over Easter week, the approach into Chiclana and the last stretch towards the beach fill with local traffic at peak hours. Even allowing for that, the journey rarely stretches past an hour and a half.

The price is per vehicle, not per seat: filling the car does not make it more expensive. What the fare includes
The fare you see covers the whole vehicle with VAT and tolls included, and it is the same at any hour of the day or night: no night surcharge, no holiday surcharge. Nothing extra is paid to the driver.
Baby and child seats are requested during booking at no additional cost. Give us the ages so the right seat is fitted; Spanish law requires an appropriate restraint system for children under 135 cm tall.
The return leg
If you already know your departure date, book both ways at once: the two legs are confirmed together and the return is timed from your departure flight, leaving enough margin to check in without rushing. Each leg keeps its own reference, so either can be changed on its own if plans move.
The alternatives, honestly
There is no train between Jerez Airport and Chiclana. Public transport means taking the local train to San Fernando or Cádiz and connecting there to a bus into Chiclana: two changes, with luggage, on services that thin out badly at night and on Sundays. It is cheaper and takes two to three hours.
The rank taxi at the airport runs on a meter, so the amount depends on the actual journey and is not known until you arrive. Car hire pays off if you plan to drive every day; if the plan is hotel and beach, you will be paying for parking and for a car that sits still.
When to book
Transfers are booked in advance and the vehicle is assigned to your flight, so this is not something to sort out on landing. In high season — Easter, July and August — larger vehicles run out first: if there are six or eight of you, book with room to spare.
