About Novo Sancti Petri
A private transfer from San Fernando-Bahía Sur station to Novo Sancti Petri is the shortest of our station routes to the resort. Trains from Seville, Jerez and Cadiz all call here, and the resort is the next town along.
San Fernando was once the Isla de León, an island in the bay, and it is the birthplace of the flamenco singer Camarón de la Isla. In 1810, during the French occupation, the Cortes first met in the town.
Novo Sancti Petri is in Chiclana de la Frontera, the next municipality along. The castle of Sancti Petri stands on an islet visible from both the San Fernando and Chiclana shores, and the resort district around it has hotels, a promenade and golf courses.
Trains between Seville and Cadiz stop here, which makes it the natural place to get off if you are staying on the south side of the bay, rather than riding on to Cadiz. The TramBahía tram-train links San Fernando with Chiclana town, but it does not reach the resort.
