How do I pay?
Ways to pay
You pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, directly on the website, through a secure payment gateway. We do not take cash, Bizum or PayPal. Stripe, our payment provider, handles your card details and we never store them. If your mobile has Apple Pay or Google Pay set up, the payment page offers it and you skip typing a card number. If not, the usual card form appears, asking for the name on the card, the number, the expiry date and the security code. You also need to tick the box accepting the booking terms and conditions before you can pay.
When and how much
You pay the full amount of the journey in one go, at the moment you book. It is the same figure you saw before paying, with VAT, tolls and waiting time included, and there is nothing left to hand over later or to the driver. The button reads “Pay” followed by the exact amount. The payment page also reminds you that cancellation is free up to the deadline shown, and it has a collapsible summary of your trip so you can check it once more. When the payment goes through, the website takes you to the confirmation page and we email you the confirmation with your 2T-NNNN reference. Until that happens the booking is not confirmed. If a message says your payment is being processed, stay on the page and do not pay again.
If the payment fails
If a payment does not go through, nothing is charged and your booking stays saved. Check the card details and try again, or use another card or another method. If your connection drops just as you press the button, go back to the same page and try again. You will not be charged twice. Sometimes your bank asks for an extra check in its app, and the payment waits until you approve it. If you paid but no email has arrived, look in your spam folder first. If it is not there either, send us your name and the date of the trip on WhatsApp or by email, and we will trace the payment with you.
