How long does the driver wait?

How long the driver waits

The driver waits 60 minutes for international flights, 45 minutes for domestic flights and trains, and 15 minutes at hotels and private addresses, counted from the scheduled arrival time. The wait is part of the price and is never charged separately. The difference has a reason. After an international flight there is passport control, and getting out usually takes longer, while at a hotel you decide when you come down. That is why the hotel margin is the shortest of the three. Baggage reclaim is also slower at a big airport than at a small one.

An example with times

If your international flight lands at 14:10, the driver waits until 15:10. With a domestic flight landing at the same time, until 14:55. If your train arrives at 18:20, until 19:05. At a hotel, if the pickup is at 9:00, the driver waits until 9:15. The wait runs from the arrival time, so allow for the time it takes you to clear passport control or collect your luggage. If your flight is late, the driver waits within those limits, always counted from the arrival time shown on the booking.

If you are going to be late

Enter the correct time when you book and, if you have them, the flight or train number. If you see you will not reach the meeting point in time, message us on WhatsApp straight away, or use the phone number in your confirmation, quoting your reference. The earlier you tell us, the more room we have to help. Once the included wait is over we cannot guarantee the driver is still there. A cancelled flight is a different case, covered in the answer on cancelled flights. If you are flying out, the hotel wait counts from the pickup time you chose, so be at reception at that time. Work out your arrival time realistically, and remember that airports are busier in summer.
